Kasia overlooks business operations, compliance and finance. She obtained an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Gloucestershire in 2018 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice at Ulster University in Belfast in 2009. 

Kasia has previously worked as Deputy Practice Manager for a large GP Practice in Cheltenham, England. She also worked for a Medical Recruitment company in Melbourne and helped to establish their London division. She is a keen cyclist and loves sporting activities.

Sylvia is our lead cardiac sonographer. She performs thousands of ultrasounds at our practice and assists with stress echocardiograms and other clinical tests at Core Cardiology.

Sylvia has worked with us since 2019. In 2024, she took on the role of Practice Manager, providing clinical leadership and heading practice development.

Sylvia graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2003 and completed her Postgraduate Cardiac Ultrasound Diploma from the Queensland University of Technology in 2010. She has 15 years of experience as a cardiac sonographer and has worked as a healthcare professional for 21 years both in hospital and private practice settings.

Abup is your first point of contact at Core Cardiology. Her role is to make your experience pleasant and streamlined, from your initial enquiry to your appointment and investigations. She will support you in organising relevant tests or procedures and filling out paperwork. She can also answer any queries you might have along the way.

Abup is currently studying nursing at the University of Canberra. She enjoys anything clinical and cardiac-related and hopes to become a cardiac nurse in the future.

Lauren's role is to support your health journey at Core Cardiology. She will assist you with appointments, investigations, and any other administrative needs. Lauren’s background is in maternity nursing, which she did for 10 years at the Royal Canberra Hospital. She also worked at Canberra Imaging Group for many years before joining Core Cardiology.

Catherine qualified from the University of Ulster in the UK in 2010. She moved to Australia in 2012 to take up a sponsorship with Calvary Hospital in Wagga, where she worked in their High Dependency Unit.

In 2015, she moved to Canberra where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit of the North Canberra Hospital for over 5 years. She began working for the 'Hospital in the Home' service in 2020, providing acute care to patients in their own homes. She continues this today alongside her duties at Core Cardiology.

Joy graduated from the University of Canberra in 2017. She is also a registered nurse at the North Canberra Hospital Coronary Care Unit, where she is undertaking her critical care training. She previously worked in the Emergency Department.
